Paul first picked up a guitar at the tender age of 17 and spent a fruitless couple of years trying to master the dark art of the “blistering solo” Eventually, after seeking specialist advice he was found to have the rare condition of ”fingerslikepigstits”. This diagnosis led to a re-evaluation of his musical ambitions and he took the bold decision to raise his status within musical circles and he went out and brought a Bass guitar.
Since then Paul has never looked back, from an early career in a garage punk band to fame, glory and bright lights playing in rock covers bands
Being part of Journey North has been a revelation, not only playing some cracking tunes penned by some extremely talented guys but also in trying to keep up with the notes escaping from a pipers bag…. a part of the journey which is still ongoing
